Vince is an independent planning consultant with over 25 years of experience in community and economic development, urban and environmental planning, and GIS.
He is currently a Kern County LAFCO commissioner (2019 to 2023 term – Public Member/Alternate). In previous lives he worked for the City of Bakersfield as a Principal Planner, and the County of Kern as an Associate Planner.
He uses geospatial technology professionally on a regular basis for his planning, real estate and environmental technical studies. Specifically, he is a firm believer this technology greatly enables planners and policy makers in their decision making for improving the welfare of people and their communities, and shaping urban areas and neighborhoods into healthier, more efficient spaces.
Vince has an undergraduate certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS from Ryerson University, a B.A. (Economics), MBA (Finance), MPA (Public Policy) from CSUB, and a MGIS from the University of Central Arkansas.
