Christina Brunsvold is an Information Technology Specialist at the California Highway Patrol in the Communications Centers Support Section. Christina graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master’s in Geographic Information Science and Technology and won the CGIA Best Student Project Award for her thesis in 2019. Christina has held various roles in URISA including president-elect for NorCal URISA and a URISA Vanguard Cabinet Member (2018-2020). In her spare time, Christina volunteers with GISCorps on disaster related projects, is a Volunteer Naturalist and Citizen Scientist at the Cosumnes River Preserve, enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and taking photographs with her camera and drone.
